Want to try something a little different for dinner this week?
Weston Street Food Market is a new outdoor evening event which kickstarts the bank holiday weekend at the Italian Gardens tomorrow (Friday 24 August).
This new pop-up event features delicious premium street food, craft beer, ciders and prosecco, top tunes and family entertainment.
It’s open from 4pm to 9pm, so the perfect way to avoid cooking that night and keep the kids entertained at the same time.
The event is being run by the team behind the popular eat:Weston and eat:Portishead food festivals, and is set-up in partnership with North Somerset Council’s Purple Flag team and Weston Business Improvement District.
Organiser Bev Milner Simonds said: “We want to create a welcoming event that draws people into town.
“We will be showcasing some great street food traders, who all have smaller portions available and options for under £5.”
Family entertainment will include a face painter, Punch and Judy shows and balloon modeller.
The event is 100 per cent single-use plastic free and actively supporting the Cleaner Coastlines campaign
