Could you be a foster carer?

Could you make fostering your New Year’s resolution for the coming year?

Families across North Somerset are needed to provide a loving home for local children in care.

Fostering can be demanding but is hugely rewarding and means so much to the children who are unable to live with their own families for a variety of reasons.

If you’ve considered fostering in the past and would like to find out more, you could meet social workers and current foster carers for an informal chat next month.

The next open evening takes place from 6.30-8.30pm, on Wednesday 16 January, at the new Costa Coffee in Oxford Street, Weston-super-Mare.

The team is happy to chat to anyone who is interested. The next Skills to Foster course starts in early February, and usually takes three days.
