Budding scientists invited to the Big Bang

Is your child a budding scientist, engineer or computer whizz-kid?

If so, an exciting and thought-provoking exhibition of science, technology and engineering will be coming to Weston-super-Mare with fascinating and intriguing displays.

The Big Bang fair is open to the public from 9.30am to 4pm on Saturday 27 April at the Winter Gardens.

Exhibitors will include five universities and several further education colleges, with interactive displays and hands-on activities.

Themes will include:

  • broadcast technology and animation
  • engineering
  • environmental
  • farm to fork
  • health, medicine and pharmaceuticals
  • maths and computing
  • microworlds.
