Make a valuable impact on a vulnerable adult

Could you open your home and share your family life, interests and skills with someone who needs help and support to live a fulfilling life?

North Somerset’s Shared Lives scheme is currently recruiting paid carers to make a valuable impact on vulnerable adults’ lives.

Carers who can provide long-term, short breaks or day support to vulnerable adults within the local community are needed.

Individuals live as part of the family, getting the opportunity try out new things.

This enhances their independence and enables them to form new and meaningful relationships and broaden their experiences.

Shared Lives carers come from a wide range of backgrounds and all have different family circumstances.

Carers receive extensive training and regular visits from a Shared Lives co-ordinator.
