If you walk, cycle or take the bus around North Somerset and the West of England, then your views are now needed on major improvement plans.

More than £400m of investment is needed in the region to provide high-quality infrastructure so walking and cycling can become the preferred modes of transport for shorter trips.

The Local Cycling and Walking Infrastructure Plan, run by the West of England Combined Authority (WECA), outlines in detail where this investment is needed – and your views are now needed on the proposals.

Simultaneously, the TravelWest Bus Strategy outlines options to improve the bus network and encourage more people to use it, by making it faster, more reliable and more accessible.
