Over £600,000 of improvements work is being carried out this month as part of North Somerset Council’s ongoing commitment to investing in the area’s roads.
The council’s August road surface treatment programme includes both surface dressing and micro asphalt works to fill minor surface irregularities and restore surface condition on 26 of the area’s roads, which adds up to just under 119,000m2 of roads being treated.

In June, after months of planning, around 80 per cent of households saw a change to their collection arrangements, which has worked well for the majority of residents, but has caused issues for some.
